“It’s like art!” Meet one of our students: Eddie Polanco!
Joining us from Stratford’s Central High School, Eddie has been with the school since October 1st of this year but has been cutting hair since a rather young age. In fact, Eddie bought his own chair in grade 10 so he could practice his barbering skills on family, friends and soccer teammates! When we asked Eddie why he chose the Stratford School of Hairstyling he explained that he knew he’d need to gain some credentials if he wanted to grow within the industry and the fact that the school is local is huge bonus.
“I enjoy the program because it’s hands-on learning and the people are awesome!” Shared Eddie. While there is no program for barbering alone, the hair school will allow him to garner skills beyond his desired scope of work.

#funfact – Eddie’s hair idol is the soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. Why? Because he keeps his hair fresh all the time!
